AEF would like to express our sincere gratitude to the students of the Abington School District for completing hundreds of acts of kindness and raising nearly $6,000 in support of Learning Grants at all nine Abington School District Schools. AEF's Learning Grants fund programs and innovative technology, such as Robotics Clubs, Book Clubs, Arts & Music enrichment, and Virtual Reality in the classroom.

AEF KINDNESS CAMPAIGN

The Abington Educational Foundation is thrilled to launch the 2018 Kindness Campaign for all Abington School District Students.  Read on to learn more about AEF's Kindness Campaign and sign up today!

What: A pledge-a-thon where ASD students seek pledges in support of acts of kindness they perform through December 8, 2018.

​

When: The Kindness Campaign takes place from November 7, 2018 through December 8, 2018.

​

How:  It's easy to participate, just click here to create your fundraising page. Click on the button that says "Participate in this thon" on the right hand side. Once your fundraising page is set up you can begin sharing with friends, family, and neighbors through email, social media, and text messages.  The more you share the more support you will receive for your random acts of kindness. Siblings can share one fundraising page (just include all sibling names in the First Name field) or have their own individual pages.

Why: Your participation in AEF's Kindness Campaign will raise important funds. The first $10,000 raised will fund one AEF Learning Grant for each of the 9 ASD schools (Copper Beech, Highland, McKinley, Overlook, Roslyn, Rydal, Willow Hill, and the Junior and Senior High). Learning Grants support programs and innovative technology, such as Robotics Clubs, Book Clubs, Arts & Music enrichment, and Virtual Reality in the classroom. All proceeds over $10,000 will be used to purchase Chromebook Computers for our schools!
